OER and the Challenges and Opportunities of Linguistic Equity at a Bilingual Canadian University

Abstract

Promoting the use of open educational resources at a bilingual university is challenging when there is a large gap in the availability of OER in one of the languages. This presentation addresses some of the reasons behind the limited availability of OER in French, expands on the equity implications of this situation, and highlights some possible opportunities.
