dc.description.abstractOverview of the Sustaining the Knowledge Commons project with a focus on correlational studies of subject, content and impact factor for the minority of open access journals using the article processing charges business model. One highlight is the finding that 10% of the journals listed in Journal Citation Reports are Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), and over 10% of DOAJ journals now have an impact factor.
