dc.description.abstractHeather Morrison's emerging research at the University of Ottawa's School of Information Studies. Explains the benefits of an open research approach, including better questions through collaboration on question formation and finding research partners. Forthcoming research includes economics of transition to open access for scholar-led publishing, establishing benchmarks for future studies of article processing fees, and mapping creative commons and open access.
