The classical concept of Sensitivity and the important results, in context of modern Control Theory have been summarized. The potentials of adding the sensitivity terms in the quadratic performance index for the reduction of the Plant Sensitivity to small parameter perturbations have been investigated. Some design criteria and theoretical results in the role of weighting matrices, that are significant in the Sensitivity Reduction Design approaches have also been presented.86 p.Engineering, Electronics and Electrical.A study of sensitivity reduction design approach.Thesis
