Title: A pair of Little Bee-Eaters perched on a thorn tree
Authors: Kerr, Jeremy

Abstract: This pair of little bee-eaters were found along the western shores of Lake Manyara National Park, August, 2019. Little bee-eaters (_Merops pusillus_) are usually found in pairs. These bee-eaters were right at the entrance to the Hot Springs Boardwalk, and one of these birds nailed a large butterfly. Although they are well-known for going after bees, they eat all kinds of insects.
